Re: Hard drive full by Anonymous Ghost on February 21st, 2005 11:23:27 PM it seems to be a virus.
lets try this:-
Open the windows search box.
Select All hard drives as the folder to search in.
leave the file name, containing fields as blank adn press search. after the search is over, sort the results by size.
post the names of top 50 files and their sizes. |
Re: Hard drive full by Anonymous Ghost on July 05th, 2005 08:00:22 PM That is what I would do, and you can try cleaning up old temp files, Internet history, cache, cookies, empty trash. What Antivirus are you currently running? Try using multiple antivirus's for instance housecall by microtrend and symantec's or pandas.. It is a lot of sites that offer free on-line scanning. If anything do a google search for one. Also try running a spyware and adware program to see if you have any of those types of items on your system. |
