98SE 2000P OSConfiguration:
Tryed to update Win 98SE with 2000 Pro upgrade. 2000 will not start, hangs around 98%. Tryed to reinstall 98SE. Recieved a Message \" not enoght disk space \". Now computer does not start. Put 2000 update disk in computer an open in DOS. See that it partitioned, and I now have a d: drive were 2000 is installed.
Question: How can I remove the d: drive with 2000 installed. Think if removed I would have enoght disk space to reinstall 98. Can I remove it in DOS, and if so how?

Additional Comments:
When I tryed to install 2000, I was prompt to install 98 disk. My computer is a HP, and came as a bundle. My 98 disk is part of a recovery disk, and did not except. When I cancled installation, some how 2000 installed. I have the rights and certificate to 98SE. How can I get a copy or can I copy 98 from my other computer.
Operating System : windows 98se

Your hard drive must of been partition - never heard of installation creating a partition - you can use a start-up disk and after loaded with FDISK to redo drive but you will probably loose everything on the disc - you might try start-up disk, select with CD support and put the recovery disc in - and see if it will redo Win98SE and that just might get your operating system back.
