Have a Compaq Presario 1200 Laptop. It opens to the Bios Password Screen. We don't know the password. Have tried several. Called support. They said they can't do anything. Any suggestions? Help!

I dont know wether it is the same with laptops, but on a desktop you can open the system up and move a jumper on the motherboard to clar the cmos |

Remove the lithium battery and boot with it not in and shutdown and put back in and boot up, ive done this and it clears the password |
