| Internet Explorer, Windows Folders Loading Slowly | Configuration: |
Hi, I\'ve had this problem for a while now, and I\'m finally asking for help. I\'m running XP Home edition on a laptop, with 256 MB RAM.
My internet explorer is extremely slow to load (both when I start it from my desktop icon, as well as any new windows that pop up from internet links I click). Additionally, my windows folders load really slowly, as well. Sometimes it takes about a minute for them to pop up.
I run Adware and Spybot S&D very regularly, so I\'m not sure if it is something of that nature. I ran HijackThis, and my log file is below.

Try researching McAfee - the FrameworkService.exe process belongs to AV software and can take a CPU to 100% (ish) so everything will crawl. |

I've found that going into "internet options" then "programs" then "manage add-ons" and disabling anything suspicious helps a great deal. My anti-spyware doesn't pick up on a few of the things I've found there that are obvious spyware |
