| Internet Explorer 6 slow, hangs on downloading pages | Configuration: |
Pretty much the same old problem: pages load slowly, then hang with half the images loaded. Pages often fail to load at all. Very recent problem.
Ran Ad-Aware, tried the \"format document\" fix, ...etc

Can anyone help me interpret this logfile? I'm having a terrible time with extremely long waits for my pages to load even with a strong signal and connection. Everything was working well on my network - only my computer has changed (new hard drive and motherboard). I ran HijackThis and the logfile is below.

There is a file called webdir.dll that will slow your Internet Explorer down when you try to launch it. The delay can be almost 1 minute before you get to see your home page. Use hijackthis and when it finds it, select the check box next to C:\WINDOWS\webdir.dll and make it remove it.
