IE 6.0 links to other pages not workingConfiguration:
When using IE 6.0 I click on a link that is to open a new web page. The web page opens but the page does not come up. It is like it forgot to put the URL address in the new IE Window that just opened. Operating System : MS Windows XP SP 2
CPU/Processor : Pentium 4 2000 MHz
RAM : Dell Actual:512 MB
Motherboard : Dell
Hard Disk : , Space: 60 GB
Partition Details : 1
Monitor : LCD 15"
Additional Comments : Dell Inspiron 8200 Laptop

I have an older system running 98SE with IE 6.0 that had this problem. I found that downloading & running Mcrepair.exe fixed the problem immediately. There's an article about it on the Microsoft Support page (Article ID: 836929). Best of luck with this annoyance.
