How do I stop windows installer from popping up and hangingConfiguration:
My windows installer pops up everytime I go to internet explorer, or outlook express, and stays there for about a minute. How do I get it mto stop? Operating System : windows xp
CPU/Processor : pentium 4 2.93 MHz
RAM : Actual:512 MB Max:512 MB
Motherboard : 1700MHz
PCI Slots : Total: 6
Monitor : LG Flatron m1710s 17"
Mouse : hp
Keyboard : ho
Printer : lexmark
Scanner : lexmark

Some software or application or some extension related to the browser did not finish installing earlier and hence is trying to install...

It could be a spyware etc that did not finish installing..

Better switch to a safer browser like Firefox or Opera.
