Cannot browse the NetConfiguration:
IE was running very slowly and took the advice to run Ad-Aware. Unfortunately, after deleting all the recommended files, now receive message \\\'Page cannot be displayed\\\' after launching IE. Can ping DNS server and all settings look fine. Help!!! Operating System : Windows XP2
CPU/Processor : Intel Pentium 4 2800 MHz
RAM : Actual:512 MB

:))) Pentium 2.8 GHz, Win XP2, 512 MB RAM and slowly. Million of reasons:)))

Suggestion 1 of 1000000: first of all reinstall IE (use Microsoft update links or other sources). After it don't try to use Ad-Aware. Use other software to fix slow IE speed problem. Try

ping [IP] -t -l 1500

Look at ping RTT time - must be stable for example for dsl 128kbps must be approx 70 +/- 5 ms.

suggest. 2 Use Netscape Navigator!
suggest. 3 download and use latest anti-virus database file

I cannot believe you are recommeding to download the latest antivirus database if the user does not have access to internet ...that is dumb
