IE was running very slowly and took the advice to run Ad-Aware. Unfortunately, after deleting all the recommended files, now receive message \\\'Page cannot be displayed\\\' after launching IE. Can ping DNS server and all settings look fine. Help!!!

CPU/Processor : Intel Pentium 4 2800 MHz

Suggestion 1 of 1000000: first of all reinstall IE (use Microsoft update links or other sources). After it don't try to use Ad-Aware. Use other software to fix slow IE speed problem. Try
ping [IP] -t -l 1500
Look at ping RTT time - must be stable for example for dsl 128kbps must be approx 70 +/- 5 ms.
