when i open internet explorer it takes about 10 seconds to actauly load up a browsing window, also msn mesenger has a slight delayed sing in. ( might be related

is everything else slow or just these applications?
try running spybot, adaware and some kind of anti-virus to make sure there are no spyware and virii on your machine.
if it is still slow, do tell how much RAM do your have. |
