DNS Errors - can't view some sites.Configuration:
Hi, I am having DNS problems on my Laptop. I have two Toshiba laptops, same modle, both on Win XP Home edition that connect to the internet via a Router. One has no DNS problems, the other one does, and means that i cannot access some sites at all - I just get another site or page cannot be displayed, even when refreshed. Both laptops use the "Set up home office network" to set connections automatically, so i had thought would work the same.

Another less important issue is that i have to set up the network each time i start up, for some reason it no longer remembers the settings (this happened after one of the MS patches was installed)
Any help greatly appreciated!
Operating System : Microsoft XP
CPU/Processor : Pentium IV 1500 MHz
RAM : 500MB

I have IE 6.0 running with XP Pro on a Dell 8200 2.57 ghz with 1mb ram. Recently, my computer was infected with a virus which caused me to have to repair Windows and uninstall/reinstall video and sound drivers which seemed to fix most problems except for IE. Since the virus, IE won't connect to links within a website or to links to a website after a yahoo search or after typing in a URL unless I re-click on the link or "Go" button in IE multiple times. I would appreciate your advice.
