Hi recently I had re-format my computer and re-installed my windows 2000 OS with update patches downloaded to my computer. But now I have a problem of receiving email from my mail server. The error message as follow:
Unable to logon to the server using Secure Password Authentication. Account: \'mail.watchmark-tech.com\', Server: \'mail.watchmark-tech.com\', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: \'-ERR authentication exchange failed\', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18
I had tried different many other ways to re-configure my email account. It still not working. I even installed thunderbird, the problem still the same. May I know is it caused by windows 2000 or outlook express 6? Can you please let me know how I can solve this problem?

Try this -Tools -Accounts -Properties Server tab make sure that you have in pop and smtp actual server names and that your id and passwords are right,also make sure that the bottom box is checked or you wil not be able to send emails. |

i have verizon internet provider but i use netscape for my e-mail address and it says invalid e-mail address or invalid password. i know my e-mail address and my password. is there anyway i can get my mail |
