I have recently received two emails with attachments rhat were from two different AOL members. When trying to open the attachments the format to open with was Adobe Elements. My Adobe Elements 1.0 didn't recognize the format and Internet explorer didn't open it either. What has caused this recent problem.
Thanks

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: Server: 'mail.address.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
Re: outlook express 6 by Anonymous Ghost on May 01st, 2005 02:00:20 AM
cannot receive any messages in OE6; however, I CAN send messages o.k.
When I hit the 'send/receive' button, an instant message appears:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'earthlink mail server', Server: 'pop.earthlink.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E.

Turning off Norton anti-virus program and re-entering the phone number for my service provider does not help.
Help!
