While using my computer, the color suddenly changed and had a yellow tinge to everything; tried connections, re-boot, etc. Is my monitor on its way out?

CPU/Processor : gateway?
Monitor : Sony vajo 15"

My monitor changes its color. It sometimes changes to a pinkish color. However, when i hit the side or top of the monitor it goes back to its normal colors. Can you help me please? |

my screen is blue and no matter what i do it stays blue how can i get this off |

You mean it is totally blue or the display has a blue tinge to everything. What all have you tried. Did you check the monitor cables are plugged in properly? |
