hosting my own web site on my computerConfiguration:
I\'m confused. just old and a bit confued is normal for me, so I ask for your indulgence.
I am trying to run a website on my computer using coldfusion 7 for developers. My question is what is the root adress of my web site on my computer. Cold Fusion shows the web and it is active at http:\\\\\\\\www.localhost:8500\\\\ ...Now my question is what exactly is my root of this address? in setting up Dreamweaver to locat my files in the root I\\\'m not sure what that means and what I refrence my files to in cold fusion or into site set up in Dreamweaver. Please help.

I have been investigating the Micromedia web site to get answers but haven\\\'ty figuire this out yet. I am trying to set up StorFront on my local hard drive for develkopment and then deploy it to my domain site trough the FTP.
Operating System : xp media addition xp pro foundation
CPU/Processor : 2 gig
RAM : 1 gig
