Duplicate filesConfiguration:
I have a problem, that hopefully has a simple answer. I am currently running Maximizer 7.0, upgraded from 6.0. I recently ran a program to check for duplicate files on my HDD. Apparently, my entire Maximizer program was duplicated. I don\\\'t know if it occurred when I upgraded, or after a system crash, when I was reinstalling my programs and data.
It appears the entire C:\\\\MAXWIN\\\\(file name)has been duplicated with a file C:\\\\MAXWIN\\\\Maxwin\\\\(file name). It appears the second file will open to an earlier date (11/04) vs. a current date.
The part that has me stuck, is the Pervasive files. I have a C:\\\\PVSW\\\\(file name) and a C:pvswarch\\\\v2000\\\\D\\\\PVSW\\\\(file name). I can\\\'t tell which of these two files is the duplicate, and which is the correct file.
By eliminating the duplicate files, I can obviously save much needed space on my PC. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Operating System : MS Windows 98 SE
CPU/Processor : Intel Pentium II 233 MHz
