The documents you're trying to open may have been written with "Microsoft Word 2000" (which is a SEPARATE program to "Worpad" (= "Microsoft Windows Waorpad" technically, as it comes with Windows). These Word documents cannot be opened by WordPad. The solution is to install Word 2000 on your PC or try opening these documents with a Word "viewer". You can download one free from Microsoft at:

Help! I just typed 3 paragraphs in Wordpad. I saved it after the second paragraph but before saving the 3rd paragraph I accidently hit the 'undo' button and it took my entire 3rd paragraph away! I cannot find any 'redo' button to bring it back. The paragraph was too long for me to remember what I wrote. Pleeease, does anyone know of anyway to get it back. I can find nothing to help in 'Wordpad help' either.

I can't open my document attached to my email.Word Pad won't open. I get the Error message saying that: you have performed an illegal operation, and will be shut down,and also a message saying :Word caused an invalid page fault in Module MSWRD 832.CNV at 0167: o15bf6d5. Registers: |
