Windows Installer can't be stopped. - STD11N.MSIConfiguration:
Purchased new PC, wouldn't install W2000 eval copy so deleted it via Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs. No

Problem. Installed Office 97. No. Problem.
Two weeks later - problem with PC so (tried to) reinsall previous version of registry.
Program couldn't find STD11N.MSI so continued to pop-up asking for path the STD11N.MSI.
Windows Task Manager would finally cancel program (Windows Installer) however when I started another application or

opened another window while browsing on the net the pop-up windows would reapper.

I can't install program either. getting error with STD11N.MSI also...What can I do to correct this??? I can't seem to find the file anywhere>? HELP PLEASE!!!

I am having the same problem. It seemed to start after I tried to remove Word 2003 because I did not want to purchase it after the trial period expired. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance

I cannot find STD11N.MSI thus not being
able to install the Office Program and
getting Power Point..
