I have an email account and check this one with Outlook Express. I often encounter a message that is just a '.' (period). Each time this message is sent to me, usually no more than 400 bytes in size, Outlook Express disconnects from my server and says there is an error. To rectify this, I have to telnet into the account and delete the message manually. What is the deal with this dot and how do I stop it from ruining my email???

Can't attach my cover letter or resume from my documents to my email when applying for jobs on line as OE says they have been deleted as they are suspicious. Why is this. |

The automatic numbering of items in a word document goes out of wack if by accident a few numbers are typed in insted of letting the auto numbering do it. is there any way fix the numbering automatically? SJ thanks |

Why do so many of my e-mails have the attachments deleted by OE, and how can I remedy this problem? |
