re-install windows and all programs again. (no need to format, just re-install over the existing installation)

Hi, I have the same problem. I tried put off 512 Mb RAM on my PC and when there is 512 Mb on my PC Access 97 works fine, but when there is 1 GB Ram doesn't work, allways the same message "Out of memory". If you find some solutions please tell me at acarceles@tissat.es
Thanks and best regards.

I had the same problem and solved it by applying Service pack SR1. Then applied SR2B as well as a precaution.
(Running 2Gb RAM on XP with SP2 and Office XP Professional)
PS. If you get an error "can't create System.mdw" when you try to install Access 97 you can overcome it by copying the file from another Access 97 installation.
