essayez d'utiliser les disquettes de secourt crées avec AVG 6 mis en jour NB. vous devez rédemmare votre PC avec ces disquette mais le grand problème est que votre système de fichier est NTFS vous aurez le mal de vous en sortir une bonne chose pour les utilisateur du forma FAT32.
Attension vous devez toute fois crée vos disquette de secour sur la machine eyant le même proprière que le votre.

This Hurri virus is a big pain in the *** but if out there resides a charitable person who can help me remove it from a machine with WINNT, 4.0, THEN I'd be ever so grateful. |

To Remove this Virus enable the Recovery Console in XP or W2K, at the command prompt run these two files. Fixboot & fixmbr. On a Win98 pc, boot with clean floppy run fdisk/mbr.

Hi help Hurri virus has infected my comp while McAfee and norton cant remove it neither is running fixboot & fixmbr.
Anti virus detects it but doesnt specify the file affected(i.e its say simply c:)

If fixboot and fixmbr does not work try do a full format and re-install. The reason for this is that the Hurri virus is a master boot sector virus and the likelihood of you removing it from windows is about 1% |

Hi,
I am David ogot from Kenya. The virus has infected my computer and in the process my rather large website folder. I need to update my site which I have not done for like two year and so this is two years work.
How can I clean the folder and how can I clean the diskettes which have thousands of photos from my sony digital mavica which from what I have learnt are probably also infected? |

I've also experienced hurri virus.After all trials of removing it,i was forced to format and re-install windos.So far,according to me,I think that's the solution.
Always try and avoid opening small sized duplicate folders(esp from flash memory) i.e 100KB and below.
That's how it get's it's way into your machine. |

The fixmbr tool will work on machines which have the original service pack (xp)however if you have upgraded the service pack I dont know how you wuold deal with that |

i succesfully cleaned my labtop using fixmbr and fixboot starting from a original windows CD. i cleaned my usb stick by formatting it on an Apple computer and then reformatted it for windows. it worked! |
