C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/MSITConfiguration:
I am trying to fix my father inlaws computer, when he logs on he gets a black box trying to open file C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/MSIT. Then when you go into add/remove programmes there is a black box covering most of the programmes on the list and you cannot remove any of the programmes that are covered by the box. Anyone know how to get rid of this?

Additional Comments:
I have run a Mcfee Virus scan and nothing has been found
Operating System : Microsoft Windowa xp
