Well in that case no harm, go ahead and remove the viruses.
When they are removed, make sure that you delete any restore points where you feel viuses exist, thats it. If you are not sure, delete all restore points and create a new virus free restore point :)

help., kind of novice but have problem. Put on fprot antivirus. This keeps coming up C:\WINDOWS\WINSTART32.EXE.??W32/PurolA

I have Symantic Anti Virus and McAfee Virus Scan on my laptop and both scan only up to a certain point then locks up. They both find several Trojans but won't clean them out. I have disabled the restore. I have even tried to format the C drive but won't let me. |
