My USB drive (LEXMAR) is also infected with boot.malmo. I can remove it (at least not found by NAV 2004) after using chkdsk with the /mdr switch on Drive C but unable to do on the USB drive even after formating it (FAT). Any help with the removal from USB drive? My OS is Windows Professinal

I am also having a serious problem with boot.malmo on my laptop, which i think is the reason for its slow start up lately. What do i do to rid my computer of this virus? Norton isn't offering any answers at all!!

my flash disk is infected with the boot.malmo.i have tried various scans with NAV, Mcfee but all in vain. Please help me.

boot.malmo is located in the MBR for physical drive no. 0. How can i get rid of it? Pls assist me.
