i am using a pentium 2 computer and the boot sector has been infected with this virus wht do i do to remove it since it has taken three weeks and it might corrupt the file or whole system?awhich anti- virus do i install to remove it? its a windows xp |

I have a mraching that has been affected by the hurri virus i would like to know how i would remove it and what antivirus i should use to remove it without affecting the file and formating my hard disk.
I know that is a boot birus that affect the bootable drive which is the harddisk but i wantto know what i can do. please do assist me with this information and what kond of antivirus do i require. |

start with a clean boot disk.
fdisk/mbr
This writes a new mbr and thats all.

I a PII computer infected by a HURRI virus.Since I transfer data from one to other my PIV is also affected.The new version of McAfee is not able to remove the virus I'm therefore looking for an antivirus for the HURRI VIRUS and how to get it.Help offered will be appreciated indeed.suniaben@yahoo.com |
