I have a Laptop running XP Home, I got a virus alert and shut down, but when I restarted I got an error message \\\\\\\'windows has encountered an error and must shut down\\\\\\\' or something very similar. I ran my recovery disk, which usually sorts out problems like this. But this time to my horror, windows would not load I have tried everything I can think of, but the problem still persists I only have a USB Floppy so I can\\\\\\\'t boot from that. I\\\\\\\'ve tried safe mode etc. I think that a virus might be in the system, flash rom or something, but I\\\\\\\'m totally out of ideas, and really down about the whole thing, so any help will be really appreciated. thanks
