| computer shuts down automatically, blue screen pops up | Configuration: |

I have a bad virus that shuts of my computer about 10 seconds after it is turned on. After it is on, a black screen shows up with a big blue box that says error and other things on it, but i cannot read how to fix the problem because the blue box is only up for a second and then the computer shuts down. I have no idea how to fix this, or what it can be. HELP!

my computer keeps saying that an error has occured and then shuts down and then starts back up |

Sounds like the data transmission wire is loose, try to reattach it.. |

I found the BSOD showing for a split second when moving a 'working ' XP hard drive from one PC to another. The only solution was to re-install windows |

I have got exactly the same with Win2k. Before I had some problems with winlogon.exe, but I don't want reinstall... |
