Instructions to Turn the Microsoft Office Assistant Off

  1. Right click on the assistant.
  2. Select Options.
  3. On the Options tab uncheck the box beside Use the Office Assistant.

If you later decide that you want the assistant back, it is a simple task:

  1. Click on the Help menu.
  2. Select Show the Office Assistant.
