This is a known problem with a Win98 update.What you can do is remove the entries that the registry has that wants this startup installation information file to be loaded.It looks like an old entry.It is harmless, but before you fix it you should backup your registry. Here is how

1. Go to START,
2. Go to RUN
3. Type scanregw
4. Click OK
5. When Asked click YES
6. When told Backed up click OK

Now, here is how to fix it.

1. Go to START
2. Go to RUN
3. Type REGEDIT
4. Go up to the menu and do a SEARCH for wsefinish.inf

As it searches make sure that the entries it shows are <drive_letter>:\content\win9x\win98se\wsefinish.infDelete the entry, and continue the search. You will ahve to delete two entries.Do not delete anything else in the registryIf you have any question please ask prior to doing any registry changes

Insert the Windows 98 setup disc into your CD drive when you boot. It should most probably resolve this issue after booting.If the problem persists, use the method above :)
