How to Shortcut to a File or Folder

Can you guide me on how can I shortcut to a file or folder.

Thanks in advance.

Re: How to Shortcut to a File or Folder

  1. In Windows Explorer, go to the folder where the file/ folder exists.
  2. Right click the file/ folder you wish to create the shortcut for.
  3. Click Create Shortcut.
  4. The shortcut will be created in the same folder. You can move it to any place of your choice. See How to Move a File to Another Folder for instructions on how you can move this shortcut.
