I have created a new plug-in for use on this website. The plug-in will allow ability to register users in Movable Type. I have not installed the plug-in here yet, but will do so very soon, and will also shift the old 1000+ users we have.
Right now I have to contact MT people about whether or not I release the plug-in in public, since the feature it offers is expected to be a part of the paid version. If they say ‘yes’, then I will release the plug-in, otherwise I won’t.
I am also considering over the possibility that they allow to release the plug-in as a paid plug-in instead of a free one, though I will like it to be released as free.

I contacted them via their both websites (mt and sixapart) about an hour ago, but it’s their pretty early morning(or very late night) over there right now.

I haven’t got any response from anyone from Six Apart. Hence I took the decision myself.
I am not releasing the plug-in,
(Perhaps this is what Ben/Mena want, but also don’t want to be bad to say no, and hence didn’t reply)
A bit frustrating reading that you have something that could help people but you won't release it. So why write about it?
